THE WEATHER

It is sunny

It is cloudy

It is rainy

It is windy

It is snowy

It is hailing

It´s hot

It´s warm

It´s cold

It is      a mammal (mamífero)

             A rodent (roedor)

             A feline (felino)

             A bird (ave)

            Brown/black/white

            Omnivorus (omnívoro)

It has got    legs (patas)

                    Whiskers (bigotes)

                    Hooves (pezuñas)

                    Scales (escamas)

                    Spikes (púas)

                    Flat snout (hocico)

                    Tail (cola)

 

 

My favourite animal is the fish

It has got scales

It lives in the river or in the sea.

All fish are cold-blooded

It has got gills and loves swim. It has got gills.

My favourite animal is a pig

It has got four legs

It has got two ears and small eyes

They are highly intelligent, social animals, and are found all over the world

My favourite animal is a penguin

It is a bird but it can´t fly

Little Blue Penguins are the smallest type of penguin (33 cm)

Large penguin populations live in countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Argentina and South Africa.

Most penguins live in the Southern Hemisphere.

Penguins can drink sea water.

My favourite animal is a tiger

It is a mammal

No two tigers have exactly the same stripes.

Tigers eat rabbits and fish. They are carnivores.

A tiger lives in a jungle and some in mountains.

Tigers are aggressive and it is solitary at nature.

 

My favourite animal is a sheep

It is a mammal.

It give us wool and we use it for jumpers, socks,…

They are usually quiet and gentle.

In a herd, all the sheep tend to listen to their leaders.

They have an obedient character.

My favourite animal is a Crab

There are about 5,000 species of crabs.

All crabs have one pair of pincers and four pairs of walking legs.

The word “cancer” is related to the word “crab” in Latin.

A female crab lays millions of eggs at one time.

Crabs are crustaceans (have an skeleton)

My favourite animal is a Cat

Cats are the most popular pet in the world.

There are 500 million of domestic cats in the world

Cats conserve energy by sleeping 14 hours a day.

Cats have powerful night vision,

Cats also have excellent hearing and smell.

 

 

 

 

My favourite animal is a Dog

They are domesticated animals

They were bred from wolves.

It is the first animal to be domesticated

It is a mammal

In United States there are 30 millions of dogs.

They eat meat and vegetables.

My favourite animal is the Hamster

It is a rodent

It has got whiskers

There are 25 species of hamster

They usually live in burrows.

Wild hamsters feed mainly on seeds, fruits, vegetables and sometimes insects.

Hamsters do not have good eyesight.
